I used to study photography and at one point, did not know what I wanted to do. All I knew then was that I was persistent on catching the sunshine of art, so I chose Raffles Design Institute. In the beginning, I was worried about the language, foreign lecturers as well as employment prospects. All my questions were eventually answered as I found out later that many reputable companies recruits its graduates as their designers. In teaching aspects, both the foreign and local lecturers were very energetic, easy-going and lively. Under their continuous guidance and instruction, I learnt a great deal from the lectures and practice.I would like to add that the biggest difference between Raffles Design Institute and other design colleges is that Raffles provides more opportunities for us to learn the practical aspects of creativity and set a wide platform for us to display our abilities.
Now that I have stepped into the industry, what I have learnt in Raffles has so far been my advantage in showing me the direction for greater success.
