Raffles Design Institute Fashion Marketing 6.1 students with the guidance of their lecturer Arzu Erdem, will host a charity fashion show at River South Art Center, the near century old warehouse will blast the past into the future on Friday, December 11th, 2009.
Trendy space age collections from 3 of Raffles Design Institute fashion design graduates (Phyllis, Edison & A Mei) will be showcased to the public. Creative futuristic performances will be present to light up not only the stage but also the atmosphere with the music played by DJ Vinx.
Through 3 completely different space age collections, guests will have a chance to witness how waste recycling, 3D & spinning gears can create completely different yet amazing outfits suitable for the future. The hair and make-up of the models will be styled by Shanghai Film Art Academy Creative Center which is a professional training center.
Christmas will be right around the corner, and profit from the fashion show will be donated and benefiting QingCongQuan 青聪泉 (Non-profit organization that helps children with autism and development disorders), giving the children a Merry Christmas.
